An essential and vitally important   part of the Light Workers   Journey for spiritual and emotional growth is to better understand, our mission, in a nutshell 'why are we here and what is my purpose'

To help us better understand this question I have found that a lot of information and guidance can be found in the wide variety of books and publications that are now widely available in bookstores and on the web.

Below we have listed some books that we have found to be very informative and helpful, also there are links to other 'Light Worker' web sites. I hope that you enjoy some of these books and their authors other works as much as we did. As you will notice at the foot of this page we have included a 'Google' search engine box for those who like to do their own research.

One of my favorite authors at the moment is Dr. Doreen Virtue. She has written extensively on the subject of Angels & Angel Therapy. Doreen Virtue, Ph.D., is a spiritual doctor of psychology and fourth-generation metaphysician who works with the angelic, elemental, and ascended master realms. She is the author of 22 books on mind-body-spirit themes, including Healing with the Angels, Divine Guidance, Angel Therapy, The Lightworker’s Way, and Archangels & Ascended Masters. Dr. Virtue is the founder and former director of WomanKind Psychiatric Hospital at Cumberland Hall Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee, and she served as an administrator at Woodside Women’s Hospital in the San Francisco Bay Area. Both all-women psychiatric hospitals specialized in treating women's psychological issues. Dr. Virtue also directed three outpatient psychiatric centers, including an adolescent drug & alcohol abuse center. Dr. Virtue has appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show, CNN, Good Morning America, The View with Barbara Walters, Donny & Marie, Roseanne, and many others. An author who I have found to be truly inspirational in his writing is Dan Millman www.danmillman.com  He has written extensivley about his own personal journey.
